All right. On FRIDAY, April 7, I will be changing my DNS over from my old server (this current one) to my new one. This means one important thing-- the forum goes bye-bye.
Unlike the last time there was a switchover, however, there's not going to be a way to move the accumulated stuff on the forums, so this basically means that the forums will be gone forever. I am going to put up a new forum system, and I'll save the existing threads in progress (as well as a flat text file containing all of the old posts). However, I'm moving to a different board system and figure since everything else is starting over, this will have to, too.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
Also, the whole "roll my own blog" thing was a failed experiment, as well, so I'm just going to make flat text files for those too and use the new system's built-in Wordpress. The RSS feed will return as soon as I figure out how to set up Wordpress to do that.

There should only be minimal downtime as far as the site's other features go; by the 16th the site should be about to where it is now. No "month of downtime" this time, folks.
