Demo post. More to come.
Wednesday, April 23, 2003 6:52:52a: *
This is yet another demo post. I'm not sure this is going to go through or not-- or if I'll be able to do this more often-- but for now... (work work work...)

Still at work-- first break. Always tweaking... I'm doing a little bit of design on one of the toys (the Colonel) but for the time being this site still isn't quite ready for prime time. Click the link above to find out why.

And it's halftime. Probably the hardest part about working mornings is the fact that my lunch is so blasted early. Anyway, while I'm not working on helping people spell their own email addresses I'm tinkering here and there. I'm positive that, since I'm not wandering into Olean or Erie again tonight and since my car has not exploded or died or anything bad, I'll be able to finish the basic services tonight and get started on the Numerolomatic. I intend to get that up by the end of this week or next. Anyway, Stupid People beckon. Wish me luck.
Wednesday, April 23, 2003 10:49:38a: *
By the way, I'm probably going to rant about this later tonight, but the Penny Arcade/Strawberry Shortcake thing is at once nauseating and surreal. I thought the work was genius, myself, but the "satire" angle is a little tough to swallow-- after all, the image was used to poke fun at American McGee, not the trademark owners... Bah. No time to get into this yet. Later.
Wednesday, April 23, 2003 1:23:33p: *
Still no news. Lots of excitement around here, though. Haven't been able to do any tweaking since last entry. Patience-- I've only got an hour and a half before I go home, so I'm going to be ready to do some major editing once I get home. By the by, the new Blogger setup kicks ass.
PHP by Blogger is less than zesty, though. I'll get to fixing that.

Me: "Can you read?"
Customer: "Yes."
Me: "Then you can answer my questions."
Customer: "Oh, no I can't."
Me: "What. Brand. Name. Is. On. Your. Modem. !!!."

Now imagine that for eight hours.

Sorry, few minor delays in getting to work. Specifically, groceries. Dinner. And the End of the World, as brought to you in full color and glorious 5.1 Digital by CLAMP. I'm talkin' 'bout X, y'all, and it is a doozy. More info as it becomes available-- I have to take care of the groceries and dinner now.
Wednesday, April 23, 2003 6:01:09p: *
Archives added. And added to the main page, too. Going for dinner now, really. I promise.
Wednesday, April 23, 2003 8:36:27p: *
Fixed the archive page bug(s). Still working on basic services.
Wednesday, April 23, 2003 8:58:24p: *
OK, maybe Blogger will decide to update the archives now... And maybe I'll fix the main page while I'm at it... Finally, maybe Blogger will save my FTP name and password...
Wednesday, April 23, 2003 9:16:24p: *
Last edit for the night. The basic page templates are complete. I can start work on the Links page tomorrow. Right now it's a toss-up between Halo and sleep... too bad I can't do both.
Thursday, April 24, 2003 6:16:49a: *
Off to work. Updates through the day.

More Excerpts From The Cavalcade Of Stupidity
"It worked just a second ago. What did you do to it?"
"I called you guys to fix my AOL... That's you guys, isn't it?" (note: I don't work for AOL)
"I didn't do anything to the computer, except reformat the hard drive. The problem must be with you guys."
"Why do you need my name? And what do you mean you can't find me? I called you five times already today!"
"Can you put me through to [Ed]? I was just talking to him and he hung up on me, but it's a good thing my cell phone died before that happened."
Thursday, April 24, 2003 10:48:00a: *
Halftime again. There's not much to say, really-- I haven't accomplished much of anything pertaining to the site, probably because half of the $@#!ing Internet is down... And I'd screw around more here, but I'm not on the good computer (for whatever reason I got shafted down to "Blogger LoFi"... aka Ghetto Blogger). So expect stuff to happen today after work. I fully intend to get the Links pages done today. More to come, as always.

"And you know what the best part is? I wanted it to happen, and then it did!" -- Black Mage, 8-Bit Theater
All hell has broken loose here in ISP-land. The email service has gone down. All of it. Next time I say what I did below, someone has permission to take a bastard sword to my face.
Thursday, April 24, 2003 3:15:25p: *
I retract the statement below regarding the bastard sword, as immediately after posting it someone called who probably would have, given the chance. All because I asked her if I could ask questions about her setup to troubleshoot her internet problem.
...I hate people.
Thursday, April 24, 2003 6:56:56p: *
Links Page is complete. Check it out here.
Personally, I like how it worked out. The "tab" setup is a little crude in terms of graphical design, but I'll work on fixing that later-- I was worried about getting it online to begin with. That's one basic service down, and two more (about page and refinement of the template) to go. There's also a little good news on the way-- since I don't have to drive in to Bradford tomorrow after work, I can probably get the about page done. But I got Links up now, and so I'm happy for the night. Time to watch more X and kill more Covenant scuzz.
Thursday, April 24, 2003 10:00:23p: *
Last post for the night, folks, and here we go. Lots to cover here, so no point in wasting time.
If you haven't checked out the links page, feel free to do so. I'd like to get some feedback if anyone's actually looking at the site...
On to more important matters, like E3 (also known as my birthday party-- you'll get that joke once the about page is completed). Nintendo and Square Enix announced the E3 lineup, and effectively confirmed three titles for the US-- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (which I am looking forward to after it went underground for "retooling"), FF Tactics Advance (which reminds me that I need to at the very least PLAY Tactics Ogre KoL a little more before getting it) and the Seiken Densetsu/FF Adventure remake, now titled Sword of Mana. How the hell many titles does the game need? Only one: GIMME!
Shining Force 2 for the Palm... I'm tempted, I really am.... Except I'd need to buy a Tungsten to play it. No thanks.
Lastly, I finished disc 2 of X. My only question is if Kamui remains a complete asshole throughout the entire series, or if this whole "anti-hero" thing is just a phase. Personally, I'm hoping for the latter. Nonetheless, Clamp's take on The Stand is interesting enough.
That's all for tonight, folks. I never did actually play Halo after I said I would. I'm not going to now, either, but I just thought you should know I lied to you. Good night.
Friday, April 25, 2003 5:20:03a: *
Good morning, all. Updates on the way-- the about page should be completed this afternoon, with the exception of a photograph. Which reminds me, I need a little feedback on that. D'you think it would be better to invest in a "webcam" style camera or perhaps a standard digital-camera style one? Neither one is going to be too expensive-- I'd rather not go too much further into debt for this-- but it's a concern I just thought I'd toss out there. Anyway, we'll burn that bridge when we get to it. Time to go to work.
Friday, April 25, 2003 10:46:17a: *
Midpoint check-in. Things are hectic today-- as per usual, nobody knows what's going on. I've been toying with a couple preliminary designs for the about page, but for now I'm just eating. I hate having to get up this early and skip breakfast, to overeat at lunch... Well, I'll get over it. Anyway, I'll be frazzled enough once I get out, so expect more Halo before webpage work. I've spent enough time here, I've got to finish eating and head back now... Wish me luck.
Friday, April 25, 2003 1:30:08p: *
The final stretch of work for today. Hopefully today will go smoothly while the last hour or so passes, without any Angry Stupid People and without needing to snap another ballpoint pen in half. I fully intend to go back to Halo once I get home, shoot up some Covenant, and in general kill things until I calm down. Or get even more frustrated.
This table where the break computers are is awful wobbly. I have to type at half my normal speed to avoid shaking the damn thing onto the floor.
Friday, April 25, 2003 5:34:54p: *
OK, so I lied again. I didn't play Halo yet. The afternoon wasn't so bad except for being kept over twenty minutes by a woman who could not follow directions. I decided, after giving up and leaving her to her own devices, to do some home improvement. So I went to the hardware store and picked up a metal towel rack, a box of screws, and a toilet seat. Seriously. The toilet seat took me three minutes to install.
The towel rack took almost an hour. This is due in part to the fact that I did most certainly NOT know what the hell I was doing, but also in part to the fact that I accidentally ripped it from the wall the first time I tried to hang my towel on it. I have my suspicion that I did not do it right the first time.
In any event, that's where we stand. I'm going to eat dinner and play Halo. You have my word this time.
Friday, April 25, 2003 5:36:12p: *
Oh, did I mention I've had eX Dream stuck in my head all damn day? I did, you know.
Friday, April 25, 2003 9:24:27p: *
Just a quick heads up before I go to bed. (Yes, I did play Halo. I just rescued Capt. Keyes.) Anyone see this? It's apparently an American-made MMORPG done up in an anime style called Nexus: Kingdom of the Winds. I'm thinking of getting in on it, but I really could do without another game to play right now. I'm more interested in finishing one or two of the ones I have, especially since there doesn't appear to be anything earth-shattering coming out for a while... Besides, I've been seriously considering an expedition back to Erie to hunt for more X DVDs...I think that they've been released up to Disc 5, but...No, a quick check of Planet Anime reports that X5 is out on 5.27.03... Damn, I can't wait that long... Not after seeing so much of the series previewed in the first episode...!
Anyway, I've been up too late too often this week. I'm turning in early. The About page may be done tomorrow or Sunday; I'll definitely have at least that much done by Monday night. Maybe even the final templates, assuming I don't go to Erie or even Olean... Hm. We'll see. Good night, all.
Saturday, April 26, 2003 5:20:52a: *
Good morning. Today is the last day of work for my shift this week, so expect the usual midpoint and final stretch updates. I promise to at the very least write up the About page today, if not get it online and ready to go. Additionally, I'm considering releasing a crappy-ass game I made a few months ago... I might tweak that, maybe, or release it as-is. I created it, intended to do it over in C, and then gave up; as it stands it's a minor little VB amusement. It would be another selling point to the site besides the Keitaro shrine and the fact that it exists; yet I'll probably hold off on the form letter to the entire links section for a few more days until I've got something everyone can enjoy. We'll see. Anyway, for now, I'm going to tkae a shower and go to work, assuming my towel rack does not explode or fall off or anything like that.
Saturday, April 26, 2003 6:52:14a: *
My first break is three hours from now.

Heaven help me.
Saturday, April 26, 2003 10:03:59a: *
Phew. The worst is over now, I think. Breaking the rest of the day up into bite-size chunks of roughly an hour and a half on average is going to make things easier, despite the higher call volume on Saturdays. More than that, I actually didn't get as hungry now as I normally would have. Regardless, it's time to get down.
Additionally, nothing fell or was destroyed at home. Plus, my deadbolt works now. Yay.
Saturday, April 26, 2003 12:19:15p: *
I should know better than to say "the worst is over now", but I mean it this time. I have only two real hours of work left to go, as I was late by twenty minutes for lunch-- the direct result of a Very Stupid Man who had just been installed and was irrationally furious that he had accidentally installed spyware on his system and that we would not help him remove it. Additionally, there are 140 people waiting in line for almost 20 minutes. These people are not happy. They make me less happy.
Oh well. About page definitely being done tonight. As long as nobody decides to be Very Stupid for the rest of the day, I'll be fine.
*twitch* *twitch*
Saturday, April 26, 2003 1:56:40p: *
Two excruciatingly surreal commercials just came on in the break room. The first was a beer ad that featured a white-boy rapper who looked like it was only his 15th birthday. The second was a pro athlete rapping out his statistics while his buddy hurled footballs at his head; it ended with "It's coming. Madden 2004."
Advertising sucks. The only reason ESPN is on here is because today is the NFL draft, something I'd be excited for if I knew anything or even cared about football before Spetember. I'm not a hardcore sports fan. I have only four seasons: Football, Football And Hockey, Hockey, and Neither Football Nor Hockey. Anyway, that's all for now-- one more hour to go. Nobody phenomenally ignorant since "Mr. I Screw Farm Animals 2003" from noon.
By the way, I'm going to be unique in the internet world by avoiding using the F word as much as possible. I spent enough time in AGFF that it's lost much of its charm for me. Besides, it's not like you can't see it anywhere else on the internet.
Saturday, April 26, 2003 3:40:39p: *
I'm home. Will begin work on the About page in short order, once I eat dinner and run a couple more errands. Fortunately, I remembered I don't have to do laundry tonight, so that's being pushed back until tomorrow afternoon, assuming (as I've said before) I don't go on another Expedition Into Poverty.
'Scuse me. Food goes in here now.
Saturday, April 26, 2003 5:52:46p: *
About Page complete. Check it out here.
I never realized just how much there is to say about me... Aw, damn. I forgot the copyright notice. Hold on. ....Done.
I'm legal now and all set to go public with the site as soon as I finish a little bit here and there. I definitely am staying here this weekend, so I'll be completing the first Dynamic Toy-- the Daily Fortune. Initial work is being done tonight for it, later.
I recieved the first external visitors to my site today-- or yesterday-- from some Technorati site that I've never heard of... And from Googlebot. Googlebot good. I'm going to submit the House of Urashima to Anipike in a few moments, and then I'm off to play Halo and others until I'm ready to wrestle with some code. In any event, share and enjoy.
A friend of mine is going through some tough times. I refer her to words of wisdom given me long ago: "Don't waste your moiney on a new set of speakers; you'll get more mileage from a cheap pair of sneakers." All right, so it's Billy Joel. Same difference. Things will get better, Angel; trust me.
Saturday, April 26, 2003 10:50:45p: *
I lied, though it was a little one. I dashed into Olean to pick up the XBox Live kit and a copy of Unreal... Good stuff. The voice chat is a little muffled--in the heat of battle it can be hard to distinguish sounds-- but it's better than no voice at all. I never noticed the sounds I make when I play, actually... I've got to be more careful, I suppose.
Anyway, the Xbox is currently downloading content for Splinter Cell, so that ought to keep it busy for a while. I'll use this time to start working on the fortune math code.
Sunday, April 27, 2003 1:20:52a: *
All right, the math core of the Numerolomatic is complete. (No, you can't peek.) I need to write 12 more descriptions for the serious half, and all twenty for the sarcastic evil half. Fortunately I can easily do all of those tomorrow. For now, good night, folks.
Sunday, April 27, 2003 12:03:46p: *
Yo. I've been at it for a while already-- getting the logic code done up just right. I've also written ten of the forty descriptions needed (five serious, five evil). I'll be working more on it later, but for now I feel the need to shoot something.
Monday, April 28, 2003 9:21:38a: *
Yesterday was unproductive, but who cares about that. This morning I woke to find my living room light on and my front door wide open.
Fortunately, I'm safe and nothing is missing (nothing I'd notice, anyway) but it was very disturbing to see that someone had been in my house. I don't know who it was so far-- I've called the landlord, who suspects that since there was a fire down the street last night, my neighbor tried to come in and get me. However, seeing that I was out like a light (or probably just didn't respond as she called out to me), she left the building without me (hopefully thinking I was already out). I think she's asleep right now, so I'll head back over there closer to noon and ask her about it. But for right now I'm just going to sit here and quietly panic...
Monday, April 28, 2003 11:39:49a: *
Still no word on who the intruder was. I certainly know it wasn't my neighbor, because she said so (and wouldn't lie about that). It's a conundrum, to be honest, but I'm going to clean up the living room (I leave it messy) and try not to worry about it. I may go out and rent a movie or something, but I'm not sure. I'm afraid, but I will not let fear master me... after all, if I did, would I be creating this page?
So for the time being, page work is on hold. I may do more later, I don't know. I'm just going to see how I can calm down...
Monday, April 28, 2003 4:48:21p: *
Sega announced their lineup for my Birthday Party (E3). Three games there struck me as interesting...
Sonic Adventure DX: I've written about this previously on a private blog, to which only about 20 people are privy (no, you're not one of them), but I'm excited about this one. Sega upped the ante on it, though, by adding 5 hours of gameplay and 50 new missions, along with the Game Gear collection. Considering I picked up SA2Battle a couple weeks ago and am just now getting back into the groove, I'll be waiting for DX in intense, pants-clenching anticipation.
Headhunter: Redemption: Again, I've made known to two dozen people how much I despise Acclaim, because they took a potentially good game like the original Headhunter and crapped it up so much just because they published it. Somehow it was terrible, and I can't put my finger on why save blaming the hellspawn that are Acclaim. But with this release-- which, heaven willing, will be untainted by those foul demons of 'gaming'-- perhaps the subtitle means not only something related to the story, but a chance for the now-series to redeem itself to me.
Sonic Battle: Oh god. Oh god. Oh god. Yes. I will have this game if I have to go further into debt to get it. I will drive to San Francisco to force Sonic Team to work on it exclusively. I will drive to JAPAN if it means getting this game a day earlier. Yes, even considering I will have to find an interstate across the Pacific Ocean. (That's why Mapquest exists.) Sonic the Fighters reborn... And on the GBA. YES.

I'm up. I don't want to be, but I'm up. Work today. I wannagosleep.
Yesterday I had a brief exchange with Tycho regarding his latest project, which apparently is to piss off every corporation in the known universe. I mentioned, and he concurred, that it would probably be best to let it (the Infamous Strawberry Shortcake Strip) be removed from the site and take their lumps, as American Greetings has a legal basis in their actions. You see, the good men at PA were parodying American McGee, who richly deserved it, but made the mistake of using someone else's trademark to do it. Now, let me be the first to say that it's not like they didn't do that before-- witness their Tetris movie poster, where I can see at least three trademarks and/or persons whom would be pissed off-- but that this is among the first times significant amounts of Ignorance have swept past it. This may be partially because PA has a huge fanbase of people, some of whom have massive intelligence penalties. But it's also partially because the "content yearns to be free" faction over at Slashdot (who may wind up accidentally posting a link to this site, who knows) has taken hold of this noble cause. By the throat, and are shaking violently to get every last drop of blood from it. Would I rather the image go back up? Sure. Does the fate of the world rest on it? Nope.
Incidentally, and this is just something frivolous, nobody entered my apartment last night. I'm happy.
My birthday is in merely seventeen days, an event I share with the illustrious Young Wang (ha ha, I made a pun). My mother thinks giving away my birth date on the site will lead to my ultimate ruin, to which I say: you may commence with stealing my identity... now. Stop. If you couldn't do it by now you're not trying hard enough. Regardless, that glorious day is coming, when the Industry showers me with news and screenshots and gives presents to EVERYONE ELSE JUST BECAUSE THEY WON'T GIVE ME A TICKET. Not that I'm bitter or anything.
Anyway, shower now. I don't want to go into work but it's a sacrifice I'll have to ma-- aw crap, I put in for overtime today... Damn you greedy brains! Damn youse to hell!
Tuesday, April 29, 2003 12:12:39p: *
Hey all. Last few notes before bed.
I ran back in to Olean tonight and picked up two important things-- three if you count the 2000 Flushes, but I don't think blue water in my bowl is significant enough to warrant a blog at 11:55. The first of these important items was a Nicolas Cage movie I had not yet seen and wished to-- Con Air. I can't believe I missed this one heretofore... I mean, it has everybody I like: Nic, Ving Rhames, John Cusack, and the God of Deadpan, Steve Buscemi. John Malkovich I could do without-- I've never been as in to him as other people have-- but Cage and Buscemi are two of the most brilliant funny-but-not-funny actors out there. It's hard to explain my fascination with Nicolas Cage; it just is. Nuff said, I think.
The other object of note is a book, but not just any book-- at the urgings of many friends, I picked up Weis and Hickman's "Dragonlance: The Annotated Chronicles". Considering I got in at 9:30 and wanted to watch the movie first, it's understandable that I have not read any of it yet beyond what I glanced at in the bookstore. (Well, OK, so I started "Dragons of Autumn Twilight" about two years back, but that's irrelevant.) In any event, that's my next big reading project, after which I will probably make time to finish The Lord of the Rings before the last movie comes out.
By the by, whilst I did laundry, I played more Final Fantasy (Origins), and managed to defeat Lich. I am officially one-fifth of the way through my quest. Yay. My party, for those interested, consists of original characters-- Tolven Brighthawk, a warrior shamed from the Order of the Wolfblade from the north hills of Melmond; Rane Thrace, an eternally smiling and sarcastic Red Mage who hails from the lands west of Pravoka; Shade, a Black Mage whose origins remain a mystery to even himself; and Maris Kandiz (known as Kandiz, as Maris is her family name), a White Mage from a clan to the south of Gaia, who has a strange fascination with Shade. Cliche, I know, but it makes the endless battles a little more interesting to think up the backstories of the woefully generic characters.
Anyway, all role-playing aside (be it done by me or done by the Dragonlance crew), I'm off to bed. I'm double-checking the locks and sleeping next to my baseball bat.
Tuesday, April 29, 2003 12:13:40p: *
Oh yeah, I almost forgot: No relation.
Tuesday, April 29, 2003 1:26:18p: *
Gragh. No rest and all work make John something something. I knew I should have brought that book. Too many Ignorant people, but fortunately none who were Angry, Stupid And Violent. I don't have any great desire to argue with any today, but I'm here an extra hour. Stress shall come.
In other news, Guilty Gear XX Reload. With the amazing amounts of well-deserved hype that the original GGXX didn't get, I'd be very surprised if this one made it over. So I'm not selling off my copy just yet.
Lastly, screen shots of Sonic Battle over at Gamespot. But not of Sonic Heroes, which seems like a more risky endeavor. Oh well. One blue blur is as good as another.
There shall be much carnage and mayhem tonight, in glorious 5.1 surround sound. I'm-a gonna kick-a some Covenant ass.
Tuesday, April 29, 2003 9:03:09p: *
Well, I've started the Chronicles. I'm especially impressed now, after having learned a little more about how fantasy novels are written (from trying to write a few short stories of my own) how Weis and Hickman turned what could have been a cliche bunch of D&D adventurers into one of the greatest, most well-known parties in all of fantasy. Though, to be brutally honest, it's more likely that the party wasn't cliche when the story was first birthed (in 1984 or earlier, depending on when you count the story as being born-- the play sessions or the publication). These books-- and, actually, the tales contained within them-- are just as old as I am, and I'd never felt a desire to read them until now. And truthfully, I have no idea what prompted this. It just popped into my head yesterday-- "You want to read the Dragonlance books." So I did.
It almost makes me want to find-- or start up-- a gaming group around here, but there's little interest. After all, this place isn't exactly a hotbed of such activity. I wouldn't be surprised if, after putting out the call for such a kindred mind, a priest, a rabbi, and a minister showed up on my back porch with the holy water in a spray bottle. And let's not even get into a discussion as to what we'd play-- D&D is a bit passe, though it is an old standby; I'd prefer a more futuristic game setting like Rifts or the Star Wars RPG.
But take a look at it from the perspective of a kid whose first experience with role-playing was getting the free copy of Dragon Warrior from Nintendo Power. I remember when "role-playing" was a word you wouldn't dare speak on the streets, if you feared being mobbed by militant parents who believed that rolling a d20 would condemn your soul to hell. Now, every god damned video game out there claims to have "role-playing" elements. Even baseball simulations. I kid you not. When did we, as a collective nation of gamers, pull our heads out of our asses and put them in another, though no less unsavory, orifice?
All I can say is that thank god the real classics are finally getting their due. Lord of the Rings far more than redeems that piece of trash D&D movie, which despite having Jeremy Irons in it, had a Wayans brother in it. Which, as my old roommate once said, was one Wayans too many. And to see a few other books selling exceptionally well-- I'm looking at you, J. K. Rowling, damn your Muggle blood-- really gives me a little bit of a boost in confidence in knowing that imagination is not truly dead in this world. Maybe it's not so much the fantasy elements, but the open-ended worlds that the authors create-- the sheer act of crafting a city, a continent, a planet, a UNIVERSE, that other people can escape into and play with-- that heartens me so... And maybe it's the fact that plenty of would-be writers are actually exercising themselves in those worlds.
A lot of people will tell you that fan fiction is garbage. I'll amend that statement by rearranging a key clause. People will tell you that a lot of fanfiction is garbage. And for the most part, they're right. I've written five tales that were published on RPGamer.com, as my webography attests. I'm proud of two of them and sort of proud of one other. The other two are pure, unadulterated trash that I regret having written (but only a little). But for every Goku versus the Nation of South Africa crossover that exists, there exists a simple and perfect work, like Pins And Needles (by Asyria, FF8 section) and Catspaw (by Amanda Swiftgold, FF6 section).
Damn, I got distracted. I think I'll finish reading this fic and then be off to bed...

How can this be morning if there is no light out yet?
Only a little news. DMG Ice updated Viral Speak, which is good, so go read that; sequels were announced to both Ico (which I've never played) and Bistro Cupid (which, though I've heard about it, I have no great desire to play-- but since the entire Internet is paying attention to this one game, heedless of the fact that It Might Be Garbage, I figured it was worth a mention). Nobody else important has mentioned anything interesting for E3 yet, so the next two weeks will be a flurry of alternating secrecy and jubilation. I can dig it.
I'm debating costumes to wear to Otakon... Nabeshin or Spike would be easy, because I have the naturally poofy hair needed to simulate an afro; but I'm debating the effect a pink suit, blue shirt, and tie would have on me whilst walking around a crowded convention center in the middle of August. Cosplay may be love, but heatstroke is pain. I might forego the costume this year.
Not that I really want to, but I'm off to work now.

There are only three people I would ever want autographs from, though I would certainly not object to other people giving me theirs. These people are: Steve Buscemi, Sandra Bullock, and Nicolas Cage. Not necessarily in that order-- all three are equally high on the list. Anyone out there with the hookup, let me know. You may be handsomely rewarded. Or may not.

Hey. I enjoy days when I have coaching, since I rarely need the entire half hour and usually wrap up with about ten minutes. The only drawback to it being that the remaining time I have left, usually with a break immediately after, is spent making sure I change the "out of office" code on my phone at the right time. So, where I would have gone home to get the book, I spent most of it just sitting at my computer waiting for the time to change.
Annoying co-worker here, so I'll continue this later.
